I decided to enter challenges and there are so many to choose from. Mom’s friend Miss Terri taught me this trick. Add them together. Here goes.
These pictures are for Mama Cormier’s Challenge Thursday Trios and Mom’s Challenge WQWWC #51: Toys. My poem is for Miss Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday Challenge. It’s called Tanka Prose. I think Tanka is a funny name. You don’t have to write a tanka in a tank or wear a tank top. Miss Terri wants pictures of cozy for her challenge called Sunday Stills. Miss Cee’s challenge is CMMC. Her topic is macro. A macro is up really close.
Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge: Macro

My WQWWC Quote This Week
“I collect stuffed animals, and toy stores make me happy.”
Grace Slick
Grace Slick is so smart. Her name is funny. If she added the s to her first name she would be Grace’s Lick. hahahaha
She is right, though. Toy Stores or departments are the best. We took these cool pictures at Costco. Well not the second Yoda picture. That’s our dog.

Don’t tell Mom, but I call our dog Yoda because I think she looks like Yoda. Her real name is Kalev. Mom and Dad call her Puppy Girl. She has really skinny hair. You can see her spots right through her hair. She needs a new coat. Maybe I will buy her a Yoda coat for Christmas. hahaha

I would NOT buy these toys for kids. They are cute. They are not soft like most stuffeds. Stuffeds are what I call my friends. Who would want to cuddle a hard face?

If you want my opinion, these stuffed dog toys are much better toys. Not the bones. These stuffeds would be better for kids, too because their faces are soft.

I Want a Horse for Christmas
This is my Tanka prose for Miss Colleen.
There was a horse at Target that is just my size. I hope Mom goes back and gets it for me for Christmas. If you talk to her, would you tell her? She wouldn’t even let me take a picture of it. If I get a horse, I can practice what Ma Leueen teaches me when I ride Biasini.
Mom, I want a horse. You can buy one for Christmas I will learn to ride. We can have fun in the snow We can have fun in the sun. Β© Manny 2021 Tanka prose is paragraph and a poem with syllables. You have to put the right number of syllables in each line. This is what Miss Colleen says, "We typically write tanka prose in the 5-7-5-7-7 or s/l/s/l/l five-line syllabic structure. Tanka prose should contain a title. There is one basic requirement in writing tanka prose: one paragraph, and one tanka."
Cozy Me

Aww, you are looking great, Manny! And having a great time with Marsha! Glad you could cozy up with me this week for Sunday Stills. I think Yoda is a great nickname for Puppy Girl, too! You’re looking awful cozy and have a wonderful vacation!
Thank you Miss Terri. You have a great vacation, too. I can’t wait to hear your Christmas music. I will start picking out my favorites, too. π Love and bear hugs, Manny
Hey Manny, you are looking so smart these days. Looks like your mommy has been busy too! π π
Mom is always busy. I sleep a lot. But now I love challenges. This one got Mom and me up at 3:00 am to write. I was so excited. Do you like my poem? I know you like pictures better.
Yes I did like your poem. π π
Thank you Miss Cee. Love, Manny
Yoda does look like Yoda. And Iagree about the stuffies. They are much softer for kids to cuddle. Biasini says Hi!
Thanks for the comment Ma Leueen. Are you getting ready for Christmas? We put up our tree today. I hope Mom puts a horse under it!!! Hi Biasini, Love, Manny
Hi Manny, Our tree went up yesterday and I got the lights on it but not any of the other decorations yet. Tomorrow I will get to that. I will tell Biasini you have your tree up!
We don’t have anything else up yet, though. Mom has surgery again tomorrow, so Dad and I are taking a break. He’s painting the living, dining room and kitchen, so I’m going to hide. π
Wishing you a great journey and fun with Biasini and you are well equipped! You are so right, nothing better than stuffeds! Have a great time Manny!
Great post, Manny! I really liked your photos and your poem. I’d never heard of tanka before, so thank you for introducing me to them. Oh, and I’m happy to see you’ve packed your sunscreen for your holiday. P.S. I think your mom should get you a horse. P.P.S. We can’t wait for you to visit us in Scotland in May! π₯³
Oh, Miss Susan, Iβm so excited, too. Your pictures of Scotland are so beautiful. I know mom is going to interview you, but could I interview you, too? Here is one of my questions? Do you write books about stuffeds? Kids love books about us. Could you teach me how to write a book? I canβt wait to meet you and Mr. Jez. Love, Manny
It’d be an honour to be interviewed by you, Manny! I don’t write books about stuffed, sorry; my books are for adults. But, my writing buddies are all stuffeds (Sluggs–a bear; Sven–a husky; Neenee and Godfrey–chimps who look a LOT like orangutans). I’d love to share some tips on book writery. Neenee is really good at story structure, so she’ll happily help you on that. We can’t wait to meet you, too! Big hugs, Susan
Great. Can we all talk on the Zoom after Christmas, Miss Susan? Mom can help me with adult questions. I can’t wait to meet all your stuffeds. Mr. Jez posted a picture of so many stuffeds that I was jumping up and down. I’m so excited. I told Mom I want a hat. I’m going to post part of his post and a link on my blog today so people can meet my new friends, too. π Talk to you soon, Love Manny XXXX
I can’t wait to chat with you when you get back home from your trip to Florida, Manny!
(Don’t worry about the hat too much, we’ll get you all set up with a custom-made one when you get here π )
That sounds fabulous. You and I need to chat as well so let me know a good time for you.
How does mid-February sound? I know it’s a wee bit off, but with Jez’s early starts we have to head to bed a lot earlier than most adult humans–earlier than a lot of kids, too. π€£ But, with our week off in mid-Feb we can stay up waaaay later and actually be awake for the call.
MId-February sounds great. I’ll send you a link near the time after we nail down the exact day and time.
Sounds good to me. I can’t wait to chat with you both, if our bunch of bears will let me get a word in.
LOL!
Manny I loved all the trios of toys, especially the dolls. They remind me of Cabbage Patch dolls which were all the rage when my kids were little.
I’m so glad you love my trio pictures. Mom agrees with you that they look like those patch toys. I want to take lots and lots of trio pictures. I love trios. Thank you Miss Mama. Love, Manny
I love that you love them Manny. Can’t wait to see more.
Thank you Miss Mama. π
hahaha – this was fun and the dog does look like Yoda – π
Thank you, Miss Yvette. Love, Manny xxx
